Two Colby Second Graders Place in 2026 PBS KIDS Writers Contest

Two second-grade students from Colby Public Schools placed in the 2026 PBS KIDS Writers Contest. Brynn Johnson earned second place and Emily Kuhlman earned third place in the 2nd grade division of the competition.

This year's contest theme was "Zoo." The PBS KIDS Writers Contest is a national competition for young student authors.
